My To-Wants for Q1 2025

2 minutes

Big wishes lead to great gifts! 😊 This year, I’m starting by gifting myself—reminding myself that every day is a gift. In my privileged life, I have the ability to make many of my wishes come true.

My Business Goals

In 2015, I want to give my business a treat and give it more time and focus than I did last year. These are the treats for the first quarter:

  1. Progress with FIPPS social business model.
  2. Book trainings on inclusive design.
  3. Plan steps for improving my website and implement first steps.
  4. Decide on whether to split my instagram account into a professional and personal account or keep everything in one account.
  5. Write 9 blog posts including one on health communications.
  6. Create and publish a reel every second week.
  7. Look for opportunities to host my poster design workshop.

My Health Goals

Getting strong and healthy is one of my main goals for this year! The following health goals are very pleasant. I think about those who can’t walk or sail or eat good food, or those who can’t afford a physiotherapist, don’t have a forest nearby and have to take 10 pills a day.

  1. Exercise twice a week.
  2. Join my first orientation run.
  3. Visit my Russian physiotherapist.
  4. Book a sailing training before the Frankfurt City Regatta.
  5. Don’t skip meals. Treat myself with delicious food!
  6. Walk in the woods once a week.
  7. Sleep 8 hrs 5 times a week.
  8. Reduce phone screen time to 3 hrs per day.

My Home Goals

My home is my warm, safe but neglected place. 😅 I will feel better after I will do the following in Q1:

  1. Sell my old computer screen.
  2. Declutter 5 paper stacks.
  3. Clean and wax my hiking shoes.
  4. Wash my sailing gear.
  5. Clean the top of my wardrobe.
  6. Put my cloth ton on the top of my wardrobe.
  7. Frame and hang two works of art.
  8. Plant spring flower onions and seeds.

My Travel Goals

Thanks to my great boss I will:

  1. Participate in the Digital Accessibility Barcamp in Friedrichshafen.
  2. Attend the conference of Max Planck Society’s Disability Officers in Erfurt.

My Personal Wishes

I remind myself to create opportunities to connect with important people around me by:

  1. Making my child laugh at least once a day.
  2. Meeting friends once a week.
  3. Having deep conversations once a week.
  4. Reflecting with my brother once a week.

What’s your to-want list for the first quarter of the year?

On a side note: Are you a researcher looking to learn how to visually present your findings but unsure where to start?
